Kindness is a thoughtful act. It means being supportive towards others. It changes the way of thinking towards one another, encourages individuals to create compassion towards others. It does not only help in little communications but also very helpful in minimizing the barriers between different communities.

Our Prophet ﷺ was always kind with everyone and taught us to be kind.

“Whoever is kind, Allah will be kind to him; therefore be kind to man on the earth. He who is in heaven will show mercy on you.”

-Prophet Muhammad

  • The day started and while I was making the breakfast for my father, my maid asked me, if I could give her some medicine for headache. My father always asks to eat before medicine; its superstitious or have some fact behind? I really don’t know. But, I instantly asked her too, did she eat breakfast? She said no. I made her tea and breakfast along with medicines so that she feel better and survive her day.
  • Just as we human beings need food and water, birds and animals too need it. Birds always try to find nearby places where they could find water and a little food. So, I place water pot and millet (Bajra seeds) for birds. And its always pleasant to see the empty bottles which I made as diy activity.
  • As the schools are operating online, as it is not easy for children too, to cope up with the studies without a proper environment. My nephew was all confused with maths and was nervous to ask his teacher. He saw me already working, so didn’t disturb me. But I anticipated his discomfort and asked whether he wants help or not. And he gave a full cheerful smile and said: Yes, Please ☺ ! It felt good to help him as being a teacher, I too miss my students teaching them in person.
  • In the scorching weather of Karachi, people here mostly face dehydration. So I try my best that whenever a delivery boy comes to deliver anything I offer him a glass of water. They are always thankful and happy for this little act of kindness.
  • You don’t always need options to do kindness; rather it can be done just by few words spoken or typed by your very phone. We see that world is moving digitally, so whenever you find any post, where you see the efforts of the person. Hit a like, it won’t cost you any money; infact we will rise by lifting others! Appreciate them by commenting some kind words and believe me, it will make their day. So, I appreciated most of my fellows whose ever I saw the post by hitting a like and appreciated my little cousin’s art who recently started her instagram page.

Remember: “A kind word is a form of charity.” -Prophet Muhammad
